Register with Hobsons Estates
Get started by registering your details with us either online, by phone, or in person at our Southall office. We’ll take the time to understand your needs and preferences, then match you with properties that suit your lifestyle and budget. You’ll also receive instant alerts when new homes become available.
- Step three
View Properties
Our experienced team will arrange and accompany you on viewings, offering honest advice and local insights along the way. If a property catches your eye, we recommend a second viewing to confirm it’s the right fit.
- Step four
Submit Your Offer
Once you’ve found the perfect property, we’ll present your offer to the seller both verbally and in writing. We’ll also gather key details from you — such as your financial position and whether you have a related sale — to support your offer.
- Step five
Offer Accepted
Congratulations! When your offer is accepted, we’ll:
• Prepare a Memorandum of Sale
• Confirm the agreed terms with all parties
• Request your solicitor and mortgage broker details (we can recommend trusted professionals if needed) You’ll then instruct your solicitor to
begin the legal process and your broker to proceed with your mortgage application.
- Step Six
Legal & Conveyancing
Your solicitor will review the draft contract, carry out local authority searches, and liaise with the seller’s solicitor. We’ll stay in close contact with all parties to keep things moving and ensure you’re updated at every stage.
- Step Seven
Survey & Mortgage Offer
A surveyor appointed by your lender will assess the property’s condition and value. Once complete, you’ll receive a formal mortgage offer — which you’ll need to sign and return to proceed.
- Step Eight
Exchange of Contracts
Once all legal checks are complete and both parties are satisfied, contracts are signed and exchanged. At this point, your deposit is transferred to the seller’s solicitor, and a completion date is agreed.
- Step Nine
Completion & Move-In
